Belmont Stakes is Awesome
"Belmont Park is an amazing place. I have enjoyed going to Michelle Branch for several years now. Everybody is there to have a good time and bet on horse racing. It's a fun place to meet different people. When you step into the horse track, you feel that you're in a different place. I usually sit on the third floor. The only issue is that they need to put the stage somewhere else so everybody can enjoy the performances and be able to see what is going on. They have two small tv screens, but in my opinion, they should rent a big unit so everyone can see. The only other issue I have is the prices of drinks and food. The prices for alcoholic beverages are insane. Maybe if NYRA stopped using the stakes as a cash cow, horse racing fans like myself would want to keep going back year after year. I know NYRA wants to make money, but $13 for a beer is outrageous. Maybe if they lowered their prices, they might get more people to come to the track during the rest of the racing season. Belmont Park is a beautiful track, and I recommend everyone to go check it for themselves. Kids and adults will love it!!!"
